This event is created to uplift and empower young girls to be successful in a dominating world. This year’s theme is “Let Your Fears Make You Fierce,” and is designed for girls ages 11-18, and their caregivers, and it will be held at the Jasper County Fairgrounds from 1-3 p.m., Central Time, on February 18. Our news department spoke with two ladies who are instrumental in making this event a success: Carmen Fortney, Educator for Purdue Extension in Jasper County and Terri Phegley, Managing Broker at Cornerstone Real Estate in Rensselaer.
