Rensselaer Board of Works & City Council Meeting (2/10/25)

Mayor Jeff Phillips talks about bid requests for the city electric and sewer services to be extended beyond Interstate 65, along Highway 114; provide city services further east on 7th Street in hopes that homes could be built there, next to Van Rensselaer School; possibility of using funds left over from water tower project to replace more lead lines in the city; the new location of the Park Board Office; required redrawing of council districts; Cylinders and Snacks classic cars weekly get-together will change locations in Spring; Clean Up Week and City Garage Sale dates set for Spring.

 

Pulaski County Commissioners/Council Meeting (2/10/25)

President of the Pulaski County Commissioners Don Street talks about the presentation made by Nathan Origer, Executive Director of the Pulaski County Community Development Organization, regarding the courthouse remodeling project; members of the Kankakee-Iroquois Regional Planning Commission from the county for 2025; a request from Sheriff Schramm to purchase equipment to benefit dispatchers and first responders; and more.
