The Carnegie Players of Rensselaer: Christmas Presentation

The Carnegie Players of Rensselaer will present "Saving Christmas," by local author Peter Schulenburg, on December 12, 13 and 14, at the Truth Bible Church (formerly The RITZ Theater), at 7 p.m. each evening.  Auditions are taking place on October 21st and 22nd, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Saint Augustine Catholic Church. President of Rensselaer Carnegie is Isaac Wellsand, and he has more information, including the new permanent home of Carnegie, and raising funds to update the location.

Jasper-Newton Foundation’s ‘Giving Tuesday’ a Success

We spoke with Brienne Hooker, Executive Director of the Jasper-Newton Foundation, and she has information on the dollars donated for this event being one of the biggest ever! She talks about how you can find a number of eligible non-profits at the foundation's website, and also about the status of the new park in Morocco.
