Easter Egg Hunts on Saturday, April 12, 2025

We have information on Rensselaer, Wheatfield, Francesville and Monon:

Rensselaer--Brookside Park, 1 p.m., ages 2 through 10.  Food Pantry donations accepted.  Sponsored by Rensselaer Lions Club.

Wheatfield--9:30 registration, 10 a.m. begin, Wheatfield American Legion, birth -age12.

Francesville--Parkview Haven Retirement Home, 10 a.m. Eastern Time, birth through 5th grade.

Monon--Monon Park, 2 p.m. Eastern Time, birth through age 10.

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and we spoke with Victims Advocate Shayla Wiseman.  It is also Child Abuse Awareness Month, and we spoke with Child Advocate, Reva Shepherd. They talk about their duties at the crisis center and how you can help support the location, that serves victims in Jasper, Newton and Pulaski Counties.
